February 4 - February 8

Physical Education: 

1st, 2nd, and 4th Periods - Net/Wall Games - Students will have the choice of taking part in Volleyball or Badminton games.

3rd, 5th and 7th Periods - Personal Fitness Activities in the Weight-room, hallway, or mat-room.  Activities include anaerobic/aerobic exercises in the weight-room, yoga, jump-roping, hula-hooping, and cooperative games in the mat-room.

 - All activities in physical education are designed to keep students engaged in fitness activities that promote a healthy lifestyle and life-long participation. 

(IF THE WEATHER DOESN'T PERMIT OR THE IS NOT ENOUGH GYM SPACE FOR A GIVEN ACTIVTY, STUDENTS WILL TAKE PART IN AlLTERNATIVE ACTIVITIES IN THE GYMNASIUM SUCH AS BASKETBALL, WALKING, BADMINTON, DODGEBALL ETC.)

PE GRADES ARE BASED ON PARTICIPATION.  SIMPLY JUST CHANGING YOUR CLOTHES DOES NOT MEAN THAT YOU WILL BE RECEIVING FULL CREDIT!!!!!!!

Missed classes are counted as zeros, so make sure classes are being made up!

January 28 - February 1

Physical Education:

January 21 - January 25

Physical Education: 

Start of 3rd Marking Period

 With the last unit of the 2nd marking period getting cut short due to mid-term testing, students will continue with same units for an extra week.   

1st, 3rd, 4th, and 7th Periods - Floor Hockey - Students will take part in floor hockey lead up activities to work on their skills and play small-sided floor hockey games in the gymnasium.

2nd and 5th Periods - Fitness and Cooperative Games - Students will take part in agility, quickness, and muscular strength fitness tests.  While students are tetsting, the other students will take part in cooperative games in the gymnasium such as basketball, badminton, volleyball, floor hockey, soccer, or football. 

 - All activities in physical education are designed to keep students engaged in fitness activities that promote a healthy lifestyle and life-long participation.

Physical Education: 

** Alternative activities may be implemented due to mid-term scheduling infractions.  Students that have shortened periods will only need sneakers and students that have extended periods will have adjusted lesson plans and will take part in additional activities.**
 
**Act 80 Half Day on Friday, January 18 - Students Only Need Sneakers for Class**
