October 30 - November 27

  Volleyball (Net Games Unit) - Students will take part in small sided volleyball activities that involve working corporately with classmates to improve volleyball game skills such as bumping, passing, serving, and spiking.  Students will also take part in small-sided volleyball games throughout the unit.  Also, other net games such as ping-pong and badminton may be offered as an alternative.  
** Dodge-ball may be offered as an alternative to net games on certain days to prepare students for the school's dodge-ball tournament.**

All activities in physical education are designed to keep students engaged in fitness activities that promote a healthy lifestyle and life-long participation

(IF THE WEATHER DOESN'T PERMIT OR THE IS NOT ENOUGH GYM SPACE FOR A GIVEN ACTIVTY, STUDENTS WILL TAKE PART IN AlLTERNATIVE ACTIVITIES IN THE GYMNASIUM SUCH AS BASKETBALL, WALKING, BADMINTON, DODGEBALL ETC.)

PE GRADES ARE BASED ON PARTICIPATION.  SIMPLY JUST CHANGING YOUR CLOTHES DOES NOT MEAN THAT YOU WILL BE RECEIVING FULL CREDIT!!!!!!!

Missed classes are counted as zeros, so make sure classes are being made up!

October 7 - October 29

Complex Team Games - Soccer with football as an alternative

          Students will take part in lead up activities to enhance game play.  Students will be split up into teams and will take part in small-sided soccer games. Also, small sided football games may be offered as an alternative for students who do not want to play football. 


7th Grade (Health Unit) - Life Skills Training (LST)
The LST program is designed to help younger students make safer and healthier life decisions with an emphasis on drug & alcohol safety and goal setting.  Additionally, the LST program is designed to help younger students develop appropriately by using lessons that impact social, physical, and mental health areas.
