Health: Studetns will be presenting their STD power-point projects to the rest of the class. Students will also start watching "Philadelphia," an educational movie about AIDS.

Health: Monday - Students will be taking a quiz on the Male & Female Reproductive System vocbulary terms.
For the remainder of the week, students will be the library working on STD research projects. The projects include a power-point and verbal presentation that will be graded on a scoring rubric.
PE: Students will be particpating in small-sided cooperative team games such as kick-ball, wiffle-ball, floor-hockey, lacrosse, and ultimate football/frisbee. As long as the weather is nice, class will be taking place outside for the rest of the year.
7th Period (ODD Days) - Students will be in the pool for swimming.

Health: Students will be starting the sexuality unit. Students will be discussing topics such as STD's, Pregnancy, Emergency Contraception, Birth Contol Methods, etc. Also, students will be learning vocabulary terms associated with the male and female reproductive systems.
PE: Students will be particpating in small-sided cooperative team games such as kick-ball, wiffle-ball, floor-hockey, lacrosse, and ultimate football/frisbee. As long as the weather is nice, class will be taking place outside for the rest of the year.

Health: Students will be completing their writing prompts on the Mental Health Triangle and submitting them for their first big grade. Rough and Final drafts will be graded. Also, students will take their first exam on Chapter 1 at the end of the week.
PE: Dodge Ball or Physical Fitness Activities in Weight Room - Students will have the option of participating in dodge ball games in the gymnasium or going to the weight room to do muscular strength, cardiovascular, and agility exercises. Dodgeball tournament for 11th and 12th graders will take place before we let out for Easter Break. Please let me know if you want to play!

All of the material will be related to Mental, Physical, and Social health issues that high schoolers face on a daily basis.
