Health: - Students will be working on a writing prompt where they will be asked to identify personal weaknesses in physical, mental, and social health. Students will be asked to set personal goals with the hope of becoming an overall healthier person. Students will be graded on a 100 point scoring rubric.

Health: - Students will begin discussing issues related to teenagers balancing their health triangle which consists of physical, mental, and social health. Related to the material, students will be working on a writing prompt where they will be asked to identify personal weaknesses in physical, mental, and social health. Students will be asked to set personal goals with the hope of becoming an overall healthier person. Students will be graded on a 100 point scoring rubric.
Physical Education: - Ultimate Frisbee - Students will practice throwing and receiving a frisbee in lead up activities before starting to play ultimate frisbee.

Health: - Students will watch "Philadelphia," an educational movie on the impact AIDS had on the American society. Students will also receive their final grades for the 3rd marking period.
Students starting the 4th marking period on Thursday, March 22 will be given the class rules, curriculum, and expectations. Also, students will begin discussing mental health issues that high school students face on a daily basis.
Physical Education: - Physical Fitness Stations - The last unit will conist of physical fitness stations in the gymnasium where students will rotate and perform numerous cardiovascular, muscular strength, muscular endurance, aerobic, and flexibility moves to improve their overall health.

PSSA TESTING WEEK!!
Health: - Stduetns will be completing their STD projects by presenting their projects to the rest of the class. Students will also start watching "Philadelphia," which is an educational movie about the impact HIV/AIDS had on the American society.
Physical Education: - (SHORTENED PERIODS) - Students will only need sneakers and will not be changing clothes due to short periods. Students will take part in basketball, badminton, and walking activities in the gymnasium or will take a walk outside if the weather permits.

Health: - Students will be completing their STD projects in the library which consists of working with a group to complete a power-point presentation related to their topic. Also, each group will present their project to the rest of the class an will be graded based off of a 70 point scoring rubric. Also, students will be discussing other sexual education topics such as emergency contraception, birth control methods, and pregnancy.

Health: - Students will begin learning about sexual education topics. Students will be learning about topics such as male/female reporoductive systems, pregnancy, birth control methods, and std's. Students will begin working on STD power-point projects in the library that will be presented the following week.
Physical Education: - (8th - 10th Grade) - Weight Room/Weight Training - Students will be doing muscular strength exercises in the weight room.
(7th Grade) - Swimming- Students will be doing a variety of swimming activities in the pool.
