Physical Educaation - Students will be presented with class expectations and rules/regulations for the school year. Students heights and weights will be recorded during the first week and the students will start the Cardiovascular Endurance Unit which inlcudes walking, jogging, and running on the track. Also, all students will be timed in the 1 mile run.

Health: - Individual groups will be called to the front of the classroom to present their final STD power-point presentation. The final project will serve as the student's final in the classroom and will count for 120 points. Students will also begin watching "Philadelphia," an educational movie on the impact AIDS had on the American society.
Physical Education: - Cooperative Team Games - As a class, students will vote to play ultimate frisbee, kick-ball, wiffle-ball, or football. Students are asked to participate to the best of their ability no matter what game is chosen.
(IF THE WEATHER DOESN'T PERMIT, STUDENTS WILL TAKE PART IN BASKETBALL ACTIVITIES IN THE GYMNASIUM)

Health: - Sexuality Education topics such as male/female reproductive systems, pregnancy, and STD's. Students will have in class assignments related to the material along with a final STD power-point project.
