January 2 - January 4

Physical Education: 

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

1st, 3rd, 4th, and 7th Periods - Floor Hockey - Students will take part in floor hockey lead up activities to work on their skills and play small-sided floor hockey games in the gymnasium.

2nd and 5th Periods - Fitness and Cooperative Games - Students will take part in agility, quickness, and muscular strength fitness tests.  While students are tetsting, the other students will take part in cooperative games in the gymnasium such as basketball, badminton, volleyball, floor hockey, soccer, or football. 

 - All activities in physical education are designed to keep students engaged in fitness activities that promote a healthy lifestyle and life-long participation. 

(IF THE WEATHER DOESN'T PERMIT OR THE IS NOT ENOUGH GYM SPACE FOR A GIVEN ACTIVTY, STUDENTS WILL TAKE PART IN AlLTERNATIVE ACTIVITIES IN THE GYMNASIUM SUCH AS BASKETBALL, WALKING, BADMINTON, DODGEBALL ETC.)

PE GRADES ARE BASED ON PARTICIPATION.  SIMPLY JUST CHANGING YOUR CLOTHES DOES NOT MEAN THAT YOU WILL BE RECEIVING FULL CREDIT!!!!!!!

Missed classes are counted as zeros, so make sure classes are being made up!

December 17 - December 21

Physical Education: 

Have a Great Christmas and Enjoy Your Break!!!!

1st & 4th Periods - Basketball and Badminton.  Students will have the choice to take part in basketball or badminton activities in the gymnasium.

2nd & 5th Periods - Floor Hockey - Students will play small-sided floor hockey games in the gymnasium.  Students may have the option of playing badminton if they do not want to play floor-hockey games.

3rd & 7th Periods - Weight Room or Basketball - Students will have the choice to take part in basketball activities in the gymnasium or personal fitness activities in the weight room.

November 19 - November 21

Physical Education: 

Volleyball Unit - Students will be split up into 2 or 4 teams depending on class size and will play small-sided volleyball games.   Students who are having trouble applying the volleyball skills (bumping, setting, serving) to game play will be pulled aside to practice the skills.

 Wednesday 11/21 - Half day.  Students will only need sneakers due to shortened periods and will take part in basketball or walking activities.  HAVE A GREAT THANKSGIVING!
